Since I am in school and have nothing to do in this class, might as well get classifaction and supports down. Gonzalez, if by the time you read this it isn't edited with the story, do so.

Storyline:
Paris IV, Paris System 2549

The Covenant are attacking the Colony of Paris IV. This caught the UNSC off-guard and they send First Responders to help out the local militia with the defence and evacuation of the Citizens. One of the first ships to arrive was the UNSC Come At Me, which was bombarded by the Covenant ships around the planet's orbit and destroyed. The ship managed to evac its survivors which were headed for the capital city, where the major evacuation of civilians were taking place.
The UNSC Dead Man's Revolver and 6 other ships are en route to repel the invading Covenant forces and most importantly to evacuate as many people as possible.

ONI has also declassified a certain installation of theirs, which is located in the underground of the capital city. Inside are several researchers and scientists that have been classified as Tier 1 priority. The volunteers to evacuate them are currently aboard the UNSC Dead Man's Revolver...

I looked over the holo map on the desk in front. There weren't any ships over our objective....yet, but we knew it would happen. I looked at my helmet, the two silver bars of the rank "Captain" on the front. I went back to the map and wrote down the coords of objectives.

Yawned lightly, taking the opportunity before arriving at the destination to relax as much as possible. "I think I'm starting to get too damn old for this." he muttered to himself.

He took notice of Dragon over at the holo map. "Yo, Dragon, any idea what kinds of numbers were looking at here?" He got up from his resting place and walked over to the desk. "Even if it is a wild guess...I want to make sure that I'll have enough supplies on hand or at base just in case."

I look up to see Alchemist. "Uhhh.....A lot.....More then what we got. It's a basic siege my man." I got done writing the coords, and went to writing radio frequencies.

"Looks like a tough one. We're gonna have to fight hard." Overkill said. "Be prepared for the worst, as my dad always said." He walked over to Dragon and got his attention. "What's the status of the ground battle so far, I mean, have the marines been doing a good job at fighting back the covenant from the evac points?"

Shakes his head at Dragon's comment. He gave a quick nod to Overkill and sat back down in his resting place.

"Wake me before drop...I'd rather not get another late flight...if you catch my drift." He still took a bit of heat from missing the initial drop into Hat Yai, though he made up for it in Arcadia.

"Where is that damn sc- ah, there we go..." Gonzalez said to himself as he was screwing back the scope to his S2. He saw the men from his platoon come in with a suprised look on their face. He grinned at them as they walked over.

"Heh, so Im assumin ya'll got the memo then?" They both nodded yes with a blank look on their face face. Gonzalez pointed the screw at one of them and said "Now... theres a reason they chose us, and its 'cuz we're the ones who can get it done. But it might, no it WILL cost us, and they know that, but it'll get done. Last time I did an EVAC..." He shook his head in depression, as he remembered the events that occured on Arcadia.


"Thats right.... you were at Arcadia.." One of the helljumpers said in awe, and the other had a confused look on his face. "You dont remember hearing about that? We were stationed on Reach when we got word about what went down. You were pronounced KIA, werent you?"

"sure gave us a scare back then but that's the past and any one no how long until the drop" he said as he walked over to break down and clean his magnum

I got up from the chair and started towards the armory. "Wake those two nit wits up before we drop" I said to no one in particular. I walked into the armory, and grabbed a M437, and a M329, but took the scope on and threw it on the M437.

Overkill grabbed his trusty DMR and slung a rocket launcher to his back. He saw dragon equipping his scope on his rifle. "Dragon, where we dropping in at?" he said as he attached his med-pack to his leg.

"Didnt you hear? they want us to drop INSIDE the city, right down the middle of it." Gonzalez said to Young.
Faces turned throughout the armory and looked at Gonzalez. "Carry on ladies, Im not talking to all of ya, dont you worry. You guys are dropping on some open courtyard near the Evac areas." The Armory went back to life as the Marines inside started to grab their gear. Gonzalez picked up his sniper rifle and helmet, one in each hand. He walked over to the exit, and said "I'd suggest bringing some extra ammo... seeing as how we dont get to leave until all the civies do."

Wakes up from his short nap upon hearing some minor commotion from the armory.
He wanders into the armory to find a lot of the people on board, getting ready.

"Crap...well least I didn't miss it this time."
He stops by his chest locker and grabs his gear...along with a few new trinkets he recently came up with. He makes sure to grab all the extra ammo he know he can carry with him.
"Well well...Bear...glad to see you still around, thought we lost you in the subways."
