This is for all the people out there that want to speculate with other clan members on the topic of the Reach BOBs and the GRD Helmet.

Are the BOBs and the helmet connected? Like the vidmasters and recon?

GRD is 343i's own armour kinda like how bungie had recon 343i has this

Even bungie gave away recon! And their "exclusive to us" was the flames, not recon. I have a feeling that when halo 4 comes out they'll release GRD with some sort of CRAZY shit challenge fOr the people who stay on reach

There is not GRD armor, helm, ect. The GRD is a(n) helm/armor from one of bungie's older games before Halo. I highly doubt that 343i would turn it into a armor for Halo 4. If they did, then they are copying somthing from a game that they don't own.

no it was in a bungie employee's armory on the last bungie day. the theory is that they left it behind and they are somehow attached to the BOBs in the campaign or the rings in the level Countdown. i've heard " they screwed up the IWHBYD skull" and that the hayabusa helmet was supposed to take years to find, so they wanted to give us something that would take years.

It's a cover up man.... sssshhhhhh

Wolfe - That theory is busted. Bungie has come out and said that they had NOTHING to do with the GRD. They also went so far as to point the perverbial finger in 343i's direction.


To which, 343i has replied with a " I don't know what you're talking about!"



On a personal note- I have made it my job to track down, and kill every BoB in Reach. I have seen no such connection between them, and the GRD.

Then maybe it'll be reach's recon. How soon before reach came out were the vidmasters revealed? With halo 4 comin out there might (better) be new vidmasters for the GRD that can be activated through waypoint like reach was through bungie. One of them will be the BOBs in reach's campaign, another will be the rings on countdown, another will be the skulls/terminals on anniversary.

Wrong again there Wolfe. Recon was no special thing in Reach. You got it for pre ordering from Best Buy, but that's it.

Also, there has been no release of Vidmasters in Reach. H3 and ODST are the last of their kind, my friend.

Yup. But you STILL had to buy the base, and stage 2 pieces to complete everything.

I know, i got my pre order recon. And u know what i wouldn't put it past 343i to keep it to themselves. They've completely destroyed and ruined EVERYTHING else. So yeah we're screwed
